The Village Temple is more than a synagogue; it is a community. We are a community of mothers, fathers, grandparents, children, young adults, older adults, singles, couples, gay, lesbian and straight, multi-racial families, interfaith families, Jews by birth and Jews by choice. We are a community of visual and performing artists, filmmakers, writers, lawyers, doctors, architects, businessmen/women, teachers, students, retirees and much more. We are a community of believers and skeptics, plus those somewhere in the middle.
We are a community committed to actively welcoming all and building a vibrant synagogue. We embrace the mitzvah of ahavat ger, the commandment to love the stranger, and thus we welcome those not yet connected to our community into our congregation.
